My First Month as an IB Teacher (DRAFT)
Fairview International School, Kuala Lumpur campus

( Melaka International School and Westlake International School) in Malaysia which follow the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, I can vouch that transitioning from  Cambridge IGCSE to the prestigious IB is not an easy one. Being an IB teacher means a master of your content and constantly reflecting on the best teaching practices and methodologies.

AtFairview International School, I am assigned to teach to IB MYP English Language Acquisition. This program aims to provide students with English communication skills that are necessary to enable them to use the English language effectively. Specifically, the program helps students to develop the competencies and thinking skills necessary for success in the mainstream classes where English is used as the primary medium of instruction.
